
Bachelor Program in Public Safety and Fire Science
Curriculum
It could be divided into two course modules: Technology of Buildings public safety and Technology of Fire Safety.
The required courses of Bachelor’s Degree Program in Public Safety and Fire Science feature theoretical bases and the practical training of applying active/passive methods in disaster prevention, etc. The curriculum design focus on two modules: Technology of Buildings public safety, and Technology of Fire Safety.

Technology of Buildings public safety
|
Core courses: Courses on "Lift Installation and Repair" and " Building Interior Installation and Repair Management "as pre-sessions for the practical courses on "Inspection of Building Equipments Safety" and "Inspections of Fire-prevention Refuge Facilities," complete with practical course on "Inspecting and Reporting Buildings Public Security" to build up the theory, application, and practice that are required to a building public safety inspector.

Technology of Fire Safety

Core courses: Based on six subjects within the National Examination for Fire safety personnel, including: "Fire Dynamics," Fire Safety Laws and Regulations," "Water System Fire Safety Equipments," "Chemical System Fire Safety Equipments," "Fire Alarm System," "Evacuation System," along with practical courses on "Inspection Practice of Fire Protection System," "Design Practice of fire pipeline system," "Practice of wiring," also include courses on "Hazardous Materials Management," and "Fire safety and explosion Protection", so as to construct a curriculum which aims at both obtaining certificates and providing practical experiences.

Students who have met the course requirement are eligible to apply for the internship an elective course in the 2nd semester or the 4th year. Students may eventually get a job offer if their performance in the internship is impressive.
